Call for Submissions: Spring Break Safety

Is there a college experience more explicitly linked with alcohol than spring break? While plenty of students go home to visit family or on volunteer trips, let’s just acknowledge that the “spring break as a week-long rager” trope didn’t develop out of nowhere — drunken coeds have been flocking to sunny locales for longer than three decades that MTV has been documenting the phenomenon. Whether you’re traveling to escape the bitter cold for the week or actively planning something crazy, we want to know what you’re planning to do stay safe. Or, if you’ve past the age of beer bongs on the beach but have the wisdom that comes with age (and possibly experience) we want you to share you’re advice! At the end of the week we’ll compile all your tips into a Spring Break Safety Guide.

Share your tips in the comments or send them to us via email at drinkingwithdiabetes@gmail.com.
